25 Of The Top Women's Clothing Brands To Sell On eBay - Page 3
11. Lilly Pulitzer
Lilly Pulitzer is a bright, fun, high end brand which can be extremely profitable to resell. Because of its popularity in high society Lilly Pulitzer has earned the title "Queen of Prep." Lilly Pulitzer items are often very brightly colored. Many items are either floral or a geometric pattern. The items you are most likely to find in a thrift store will be from Lilly Pulitzer's collection for Target (which sold out within hours of doors opening). Her non-target pieces are more valuable as they are more difficult to find.
12. Christian Dior
Christian Dior was a french designer who came into his own in the early 19th century, putting France on the map for high fashion. Christian Dior clothing can be edgy in design but is often in bold black and whites and avoids lurid colors or patterns. Check those tags!
13. Dolce & Gabbana
For only opening the doors of their first store in 1986, Dolce and Gabbana have grown to have a huge following. They have a reputation for being the highest caliber of Italian fashion and their articles are priced accordingly. The chances of finding a recent D&G piece at a local thrift store in extremely low (fakes abound however so be cautious...) but we have found a couple older pieces such as those pictured. Be very careful when buying Dolce and Gabbana to resell as it is probably just behind Burberry and Louis Vuitton for being faked. If we ever found a Dolce and Gabbana purse we'd probably end up putting it back on the shelf because we wouldn't believe it real....
14. Rag & Bone
As with many brands on this list, your location will heavily influence whether or not you find these brand at a local Thrift Store. Live in Huck-a-Buck Missouri? Not likely. But if you find a thrift store nearest the upper class suburbs of New York or another large city, rag & bone is on of the fantastic brands you may find! The rag & bone brand is less that 10 years old and makes iconic American casual clothing. Because it is such a young (but not small) company, you are likely to find newer items still in great shape!
15. Brunello Cucinelli
Brunello Cucinelli grew up on a rural Italian farm with no electricity or running water. He dropped out of engineering school at age 24 and created his first clothing product: brightly colored cashmere sweaters. Following its moderate success he started his own clothing line with only $550 to his name. At age 62 Brunello Cucinelli is now worth in excess of 1 billion dollars! Talk about picking yourself up by your bootstraps! In opposition to his first product, Brunello Cucinelli products are often in understated and business appropriate colors. Although the brand has branched out into nearly every area of women's clothing, cashmere pieces remain their signature fabric. Find it by feel!
